Brotherly love

Botswana President Ian Khama's open criticism of President Robert Mugabe's regime has provoked a stream of vitriol from Zimbabwe's state-controlled media. Mugabe's officials referred to Khama's government as a military junta (Khama formerly headed Botswana's small army), adding that Khama had been imposed on the Tswana without an election. They also made references to the white British origins of Khama's mother, implying that her son could not therefore be truly African.
