President José Eduardo dos Santos's government is arresting human rights activists and claimed sympathisers of the Frente para a Libertação do Enclave de Cabinda-Forças Armadas de Cabinda (FLEC-FAC). This comes after gunmen attacked a bus, on 8 January, which was carrying Togo's football team to the Cup of Nations tournament in Cabinda, killing two officials. Police arrested two men they said were from the Forças de Libertação do Estado de Cabinda-Posição Militar (FLEC-PM) faction.
