Gideon rising

Considering the economic nightmares with which he has to contend daily, Reserve Bank Governor Gideon Gono is a relaxed man. He speaks gaily of economic challenges, never of difficulties or crises. He is also demonstrably godly, in the evangelical mode. Combining the two qualities, Gono beams a beatific smile when asked for irritating details about Zimbabwe's latest financial arrangements by nosey journalists or tetchy creditors.
