George Soros offers some tips

President Alpha Condé has invited the United States billionaire financier and philanthropist George Soros to advise on a new mining code which, the President says, will facilitate ‘the struggle against bribes and corruption in the country’. Surprisingly, Soros suggested that the Guinean state should take at least 30% of the equity in any new mining project, up from the current ceiling of 20%, a mining industry source said.
