Under government sponsorship, Boers are moving north of the Limpopo to introduce large-scale farming. The launch pad is the Niassa province of Mozambique, devastated by almost 30 years of warfare, but potentially rich. This Afrikaner trek aims to create a 'food corridor' from Angola to Mozambique, with Afrikaner agribusiness investing heavily in commercial farming, food processing and ecotourism.
