Queueing up for Lake Albert's oil

Indian and Chinese companies have joined the race for Uganda's oil assets in the Lake Albert Basin, where at least 2 billion barrels of oil have been discovered. Opportunities have arisen since President Yoweri Museveni's government is using the transfer of oil assets as a tool to extract more attractive terms from international oil companies operating in Uganda.
