Save the children

New visa regulations for children travelling to South Africa have been criticised as 'economic sabotage' by the South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Tourism contributes 9% to the country's gross domestic product and employs 1.5 million people. The industry believes the measure is already deterring visitors and damaging the economy. The government says the rules are meant to help fight child-trafficking.
