Capital flight

An embarrassing airing of the wealth, extravagance and lavish use of private jets by President Ali Bongo and his family and vast entourage is in store, once a lawsuit by a Swiss aviation consulting company gets going in Geneva. Last week, Travcon AG, which arranges the charter of private jets for the super-rich and heads of state, was given leave by the Swiss courts to sue Gabon for US$11 million in allegedly unpaid bills.
