Paternal censorship

Colonel Moammar el Gadaffi has ordered the release of 20 journalists employed by his son Seif el Islam el Gadaffi’s publishing company, Al Ghad Media Services, who were arrested at the beginning of November on the orders of Prime Minister El Baghdadi el Mahmoudi. The Premier had been angered by strong criticism of corruption and a call for the return of the original 1969 military junta in the weekly newspaper Oea.
