New faces wanted

Although Prime Minister Hage Geingob got his way with controversial constitutional amendments, it looks as if he may have a crowd of radical SWAPO Party Youth League (SPYL) members to cope with in the next Parliament. The National Assembly approved the Third Constitutional Amendment Bill unexpectedly quickly on 27 August after SWAPO used its two-thirds majority of 54 members of parliament to ram it through.
