King's move

The political relaunch of a former Prime Minister, Obed Dlamini, could revive the antimonarchist opposition. This has been marking time since the 70,000-strong Swaziland Federation of Trade Unions failed to get support for a general strike in 1997 or for a boycott of last October’s parliamentary elections (when, to the delight of royalists, there was a 60 per cent turnout).
