Below are key quotes from the 5 August complaint filed in a US civil court against the Sudanese and Iranian governments: 'The Defendant, the Republic of the Sudan, acting through the Defendant, the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of the Sudan, entered into an arrangement with Al Qaeda and Hezbollah under which those organizations received shelter and protection from interference while carrying out planning and training of various persons for terrorist attacks...'
