Making the President nervous

Only President Yoweri Museveni's die-hard supporters expect him to win many votes in northern Uganda, where he is blamed for failing to end the 18-year insurgency by the Lord's Resistance Army. The ruling party's bigwigs are far more concerned about signs of a swing towards the opposition candidate Kizza Besigye in traditionally pro-Museveni areas of the east.
