The opposition line-up

The division of the opposition into three rival components hampers its response to the government’s crackdown and its ability to mobilise against electoral fraud. Activists believe the Central Intelligence Organisation is working to exacerbate the divisions in oppositon ranks. As the political crisis drags on, there are signs that the three main groups are at least talking about broader political collaboration.
