In the run-up to the presidential election, due but not confirmed in April, political squabbles are increasing. President Dahir Riyale Kahin accused his rival, Ahmed Mohamed Silanyo of the Peace, Unity and Development Party (Kulmiye) of wanting a unified Somalia, an incendiary issue.
