Three Algerians have been charged in London with 'possession of articles for the commission, preparation or instigation of terrorist acts outside the UK': police found chemicals, bomb-making manuals, transmitters and other equipment in dawn raids in south-east London. The three men were arrested under the Prevention of Terrorism Act in late May and their case will be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions by the end of this month as the prelude to trial.
