Central African Republic

India sets the pace

Indian and Chinese investors are on the offensive in Central African Republic – even if the country is voted one of the worst in the world for doing business by the International Finance Corporation. For once, India is setting the pace. By March 2012, Central African Republic will have a new Indian-built cement factory producing 146,000 tonnes a year (about 400 tn. a day) according to President François Bozizé.
