Reigning again

The omens are not good for Crown Prince Letsie David Mohato's second coming to the Basotho throne. His first reign started an effective coup when he dissolved the elected government of Prime Minister Dr. Ntsu Mokhehle in August 1994. He was widely seen as a puppet of the opposition Basotho National Party and the army; he quickly handed the throne to his then-exiled father, King Moshoeshoe II.
