Following the international formula doesn’t guarantee success for an economy derailed by the public health emergency

Ghana responded quicker than most countries and has the biggest Covid-19 testing programme in Africa outside South Africa and a pro-active information campaign. Yet its economy will be on hold for at least another three months, as the governing party prepares for elections in December.
