No licence to drill

African Petroleum Corporation Limited, founded by Vasile 'Frank' Timis, risks losing its foothold in Gambia's growing oil and gas sector after failing to renew the exploration licences for its offshore assets. Last month, the government cancelled the licences to the A1 and A4 gas fields after the Norwegian-listed company failed to meet drilling obligations in one concession.
