Rwanda

A new Danelaw

Denmark last week passed an unprecedented law permitting the government to send asylum-seekers to a third country to have their claims processed. If successful, they would only gain the right of residence in the third country. Rwanda is thought most likely to take this role after Danish ministers signed a deal to strengthen its asylum system in April.
