Auxillia courts the London crowd

Under sanctions for grand corruption, Zimbabwe’s First Lady is due to address a conference in London where Labour MPs are expected

Despite accusations of electoral fraud and massive corruption against the ruling Zimbabwe African National Union-Patriotic Front, President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s wife, Auxillia, has been invited to a summit in London of ‘Africa’s most influential women, who are not only driving transformative change but also championing sustainable futures’, according to the organisers of the First Ladies of Africa Impact and Resilience Summit (FLAIR) on 17 and 18 June at a four-star hotel in London.
