Opposition demands talks on their terms

A dispute over who should be at the table has prompted opposition leaders to reject President Tshisekedi’s proposed Dialogue

A new trial of strength between President Félix Tshisekedi and his opponents Delly Sesanga and Martin Fayulu in the C64 Coalition unfolded on the streets of Kinshasa, Lubumbashi and Kindu on 15 September. Organised by the C64 Coalition, the protests were part of a national day of action – promised by the organisers to be the first of many.
