Changing tribal customs on J Street

An anthropoligist and medical doctor, the new World Bank President Jim Yong Kim is putting his training to pratical use: ‘There is a piece of paper up on the wall of my Managing Director Caroline Anstey’s office, which she calls the Spaghetti Diagram – it shows all the departments and processes that a decision has to go through at the Bank before approval. ‘We are going to slim that down,’ says Kim.
