Bah humbug

After Africa Confidential had revealed that Ibrahima Bah, a warlord in Sierra Leone’s civil war now under United Nations’ sanctions, was living unmolested in Freetown, police arrested him on 7 June. Now he has been released, says a source in the capital, regardless of the requirement on the government to return him to the country where he was when sanctions were imposed.
