Waterborne corruption

Pressure mounts on President Mwai Kibaki to act against corruption after his anti-graft czar, John Githongo, resigned on 7 February. Opposition MPs and local campaigners are looking at some British-based businessmen who have monopolised security procurement under this and the previous government. Parliament's Public Accounts Committee can now appraise such procurement.
