Court date for mine bosses

Two former executives and a business consultant from collapsed Sierra Leone iron ore developer London Mining PLC are set to stand trial in London on charges of making corrupt payments to Sierra Leonean government officials. The case has been brought by Britain's Serious Fraud Office seven years after starting its investigation and almost 10 years after the miner collapsed. Pre-trial hearings are in course for a trial expected to start in January 2025.
