The campaign to unseat World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz dominated the Spring Meeting of the Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) on 14-15 April, bitterly dividing the shareholders of both institutions. The infighting comes at a critical point for Africa and could badly damage its fund-raising efforts this year.
