Costly payment delays

On 29 September, the International Monetary Fund loaned Angola US$890 million instead of the $2 billion Luanda had asked for. The government says that the country has reached the turning point after the economic crisis, but business is still cautious, not to mention the public, which has yet to feel any improvement.
