Bank officials advise African economies to seek new sources of funding

‘Is it Africa’s time?’ asked Ghanaian journalist Komla Dumor at a seminar at the African Development Bank’s annual meeting in Marrakech on 29 May. His panelists – AfDB President Donald Kaberuka, Rwanda’s President Paul Kagame, South African Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan and Sudanese telecommunications mogul and philanthropist Mohamed Ibrahim – all shot back in the affirmative.
