Nevers on a Sunday

The evangelical cleric and leader of the Movement for Multiparty Democracy, Nevers Mumba, is struggling amid strong criticism from senior members of his own party. MMD Vice-Presidents Michael Kaingu and Brian Chituwo, and Spokeswoman Dora Siliya have accused him of ‘not adding value’ to the once governing party. Mumba is also accused of lavishly spending party donations and the monthly contributions from MMD members of parliament.
