A matter of private equity

Africa’s top private equity firms are in talks with their Chinese counterparts to channel a new wave of investment into African companies. On 16 June, Vincent Le Guennou, Chief Executive Officer of Emerging Capital Partners, one of Africa’s largest PE firms, said that Chinese funds want to allocate more resources to Africa, either as direct investments or through funds like ECP.
