Indian companies top the transparency pops

A Transparency International study shows Indian companies are ahead of the rest in reporting on their activities

Indian multinationals came out streets ahead of their BRICS – Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa – peers in a new report by Transparency International. TI ranked 100 emerging market firms on corporate transparency and Indian companies took all first four spots. With a spate of Chinese telecommunications deals mired in corruption problems from Zambia to Ethiopia, the transparency issue is steadily moving up the Asia-Africa agenda.
