The Jubilee Party was left deeply embarrassed at having to rerun the primary elections to select parliamentary candidates in 21 of the country's 47 counties this month. Party members in Eldoret, a Jubilee stronghold with 11,000 registered party members, reportedly complained that a mere 1,000 ballots had been delivered for the vote on 21 April.
