As the governing National Rainbow Coalition (Narc) quarrels over internal elections, Kenya's alliance system is becoming increasingly fluid and a new set of leaders is jockeying for position ahead of the 2007 polls. Almost every party is seeking coalition partners to fight the elections while promoting the virtues of its own leader.
