Rot at savings fund exposed

A parliamentary committee has demanded a minister resign and other officials be sacked after an internal dispute spilled into the open

A parliamentary select committee has demanded the resignation of Betty Amongi, Minister of Gender, Labour, and Social Development, over her attempted interference in the management of the National Social Security Fund (NSSF), the state-run contributory pension scheme to which employees give 5% of their salaries and their employers 10%.
