Financial shades of grey

The decision by the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the global anti-money laundering watchdog, at its annual plenary session on 23 February, to put Kenya and Namibia on its 'grey list' of countries not doing enough to tackle dirty money, is likely to hurt Nairobi's standing as the financial centre of the region. The meeting also saw Uganda taken off the watch list.
