Losing and winning

The National Resistance Movement bigwigs whom voters rejected include 17 government ministers - one quarter of President Yoweri Museveni's cabinet. The most senior was First Deputy Prime Minister Moses Ali, Minister for Disaster Preparedness and Refugees (once a refugee himself in Sudan after the fall of Idi Amin). He was booted out of his East Moyo seat in the north-western district of Adjumani.
