King Mohammed VI's government was 'astonished' by President Abdelaziz Bouteflika's claim that Rabat was training Islamists who on 15 August massacred 29 people in Algeria's border area of Beni Ounif, Bechar. This quarrel also threatens July's United Nations-organised referendum on Western Sahara, which Rabat's political advisors won't even contemplate losing.
