Espion embarrassant

The leaked diaries of former French intelligence chief Yves Bertrand have enraged and amused the political establishment in Paris, which is already intrigued by the accusations of high-level corruption made by the prosecutors in the ongoing Angolagate trial (AC Vol 49 No 19). Bertrand's notes are being serialised in the usually conservative Paris weekly, Le Point.
