'No party politics' is producing a surprising divergence of views and interests

In June President Yoweri Museveni's National Resistance Movement is defending its opposition to multi-party politics in a national referendum. It is set to win the referendum comfortably (see feature) and the Movement is likely to continue to dominate Ugandan politics for some years to come. But there is a growing divergence of political view within in the Movement. Below our correspondents in Uganda offer a guide to some of the main political figures in the Movement:
